Love…

Are you getting as much attention and love as you think you deserve?

There’s nothing more charming than an adorable puppy…

…how close to that are you?

Figure that one out and you will get all the love and attention you can handle.

– Dr. Vik, The Culture King

Ask Yourself…

Am I better than this?

Look around…your life – relationships, your effort, work, family, exercise, eating.

Some areas may need a little more attention.

It’s OK – for sometimes we are doing so many things that we don’t remember to take the time to assess where we are, and what area needs more attention.

So just see what area or areas have been a bit malnourished by you, and set some small goals to get them back on track.

It’s just called maintenance – cultivating your life’s garden – and then watch it grow:)

What’s a 3 letter word…

For “fired up”?

YOU!

I said it, and you know it.

So don’t even think about going through the motions, that’s not like you.

Show the world what you’re all about!

Don’t be afraid to see…

Yourself through another’s eyes.

We all have a perception of who we are and what we can become, and the studies show that other people think more highly of you than you do of yourself.

I think and believe that everyone has the ability to achieve at their highest potential and what stands in the way is the way they view themselves.

So don’t be afraid of seeing yourself through another’s eyes – for what is seen, is usually better than what is seen by you.

The ankle bone’s connected to the…

Knee bone, and…the knee bone is connected to the thigh bone, and the thigh bone is connected to the hip bone…We’ve all heard this, and some of us grew up singing it.

The fact is, we are all connected.

So in having a challenge with one part of our body, we can focus on a remedy for the specific part, in the short term, but we have to work on the body as a whole for long term health.

For example, we can have trouble with a musculo-skeletal problem in our body, affecting a joint, but if we are not exercising or routinely, any remedy will be short term, as the joint will only work, long term, if it’s put through the proper range of motion that exercise gives it.

This goes for all challenges within our body – we can fix the problem but we must address the cause.

When was the last time…

You just totally relaxed or just “chilled out” and took in the things around you?

Good question, and I bet someone of us can’t remember that far back.

We don’t even have to do anything, and that’s the funny part – remember, relaxing and “chilling out” takes no effort…only letting go.

We don’t have to be in a meditation room or behind the TV…with a TV – that’s called “zoning out”.

We can be at a baseball game or at the beach or even while we commute on the train. All we need to do is nothing.

Just sit quietly and take in take in everything that is going on and appreciate the beauty of it all. When we do, we experience what really is, and who we really are.
