It’s not always what we get…

It’s what we make out of what we got.

Ever know someone that seems to have it all. and does nothing with it, and continues to look elsewhere?…and it may even be you?

Well, many people do wonders with what they already have, and make what they have into a Masterpiece.
We’re not saying stop searching all together, just maybe take a look at your present situation ,as if you will never get anything else, to find what hidden jewels you already have and take them to the “Next Level”.
You just may be surprised at what you find.

New pair of shoes…

If you are impatient because your life isn’t going the way you want – think again.

I gave a talk to the St Jude’s Ranch for children in Boulder City, and after, since we sell shoes, they asked if it would be possible to donate some shoes for the kids.

They said it would make a big impact on the children and their lives, going to school sporting a brand new pair…you see, the 92 kids come from abusive homes and or are abandoned and most spend their entire lives at the Ranch.

The Ranch is a wonderful loving place which is not the point, the reason the kids are there is the sad part.

So Zappos and the Marketing team came through and helped deliver 92 – $100 gift certificates to the kids – I have a “thank you ” picture in my office from 6 of the most adorable and well mannered kids you have ever met.

So, you having a little bit of trouble in your life – think again.

When it comes to…

Facing some of the really big tasks or projects in our lives, it can be daunting to say the least.

Just thinking or imagining the time that will be needed to finish it or come to completion, can become a barrier to even start the process.

But if we believe it’s worthwhile, we must breakdown the barriers and start the process and know there are ways to bring us to the finish line, faster than we have originally estimated.

We’ve all probably heard the answer to the question:

“How do you eat an elephant?”…”One bite at a time”.

Well, that statement implies that it will take a certain amount of time, but doesn’t take into account that,  from time to time…

“We can chew fast”.

Silence is sometimes, the best…

Answer.

In this fast paced world, we often seem to react to this and respond to that, and don’t really take the time to think about, and digest what we are reacting or responding to.

By remaining silent, until we fully understand…will allow us in making the better choice in our eventual response.

This can also help by allowing us to be more objective until we become subjective when we “join” the process and in our subsequent thoughts.

So staying silent and staying objective are the great benefits of having silence our immediate answer.

Ah, The balance of Nature.

Everything in nature tends to balance things out and the includes our lives!

We probably wish it wasn’t so, but when we really think about it, we never really go up or down for an extended period of time.

And thinking back – we all have probably failed just as many times as we have succeeded.

And in understanding the concept of nature balancing things out – we don’t really have to worry about the times that we are going down a bit, we just need to stay positive when they do, and know things will change.

Otherwise we ride the roller coaster of emotions with the peaks and the valleys that WILL happen – and that’s not the best way to enjoy the ride.
