A “cause” is why you do what you do, and can be used for keeping focus as time marches on.
It can also be a motivator, a reason and even a defining statement of what you’re about.
Southwest Airlines is about the freedom to fly and connect with loved ones through the much lower fares they offer…and they seem to wrap their Culture around it. Maybe that’s why they have been such a great company and service for all these years.
You don’t have to be a company to have a cause…just figure out what you’re about and wrap what you do around it…you just may get the same success that Southwest Airlines has been experiencing…wouldn’t that be nice:)
