A lot of companies and met with a lot of executives.
And the one common denominator I have found in those companies that are successful and have a cool vibe inside, is that the executives have turned the “Trust Level” up.
They understand and realize that their employees are grown ups and when they treat them as such, and really trust them. The employees respond in an amazing and responsible manner and the company is successful.
Conversely, I have been in many companies that I wanted to leave as soon as possible, because the vibe was bad and the trust level was low…leading to micro-managing and poor morale and, as a result, the company was doing poorly.
