How some folks turn out the same as their parents, and some don’t.
I know of one “parent” that never keeps his word, rarely works and is a poor role model for his kids.
One of his kids is pretty much the same, and defends his “deal” as having a poor upbringing and a bad role model as a Dad.
While his other kid, has a great job, good family and is about as responsible as one can get. When I asked him about how he became so successful, he said, “It’s my choice how to live my life and what I become. I recognize my Dad for who he is, and didn’t want to end up like him…so whenever I had a decision to make, I would just do the exact opposite of what my Dad would do”.
